We chose this title, because it’s the best way to describe the events of this past week. We had to change the project at the last minute, that’s why we got a photographer at the last minute; our very good friend Bernarda Conič and tried to catch proper lightning at the last minute – this was yesterday 😀
We looked for a male model, but everyone was busy, so Teja had to jump in. This wasn’t necessarily bad, because we were able to use it, to demonstrate that women’s and men’s fashion doesn’t always have clear boundaries, and that a men’s shirt can also be worn by a woman with the appropriate style. The shirt was designed by us and Suzana Samac, and we also worked with two graphic designers, who created the typography, which the three of us then turned into reality.
During the project, we cut more than 100 letters from a double layer of jute. We photographed the shirt on the street, because it works best with the street style, which we’ve prepared this time.
There’s probably a lot of us, who are always chasing that last minute, studying the night before the exam, but it always turns out well in the end J.
The next two posts will be completely non-commercial, because we’re also using this blog to fill our portfolio for Paris, where we really want to go study next year. We were really busy this week. Anja studied the Japanese modelling technique (you’ll see how that looks, in one of our future posts), while Teja was busy zincing a wire as a frame for her also unusual dress.
November is gonna be our month of avant-garde. See you in two weeks!
